How to rent an allotment

If you are interested in renting an allotment please contact the Association using the website (preferred) or visit the allotment site on Sunday morning and ask to be introduced to a committee member.

We’ll discuss your requirements and show you available plots, or put you on the waiting list (if there is one). Plots are available in a variety of sizes starting at about 50 m².

The current rental charge is £0.30 m² per year, plus a £6 water charge. A £50 deposit must also be paid which is returned at the termination of your tenancy if your plot is in good condition (i.e. does not require clearance prior to being re-let).

Prior to commencing your tenancy you’ll need to sign and return a copy of the Association’s regulations.
